About us

We would love to welcome you to the Pittsburgh Pet Pals family. We are a small business that grew in the heart of Pittsburgh, Pa. We started our business because my husband has an incurable disease that was literatlly killing him at his other jobs. We decided to make a change for the better. Animals are my husband's passion, especially his four-legged furry friends at home, so we took a leap of faith and built Pittsburgh Pet Pals. We are happy to report our hero is doing much better and so is the pet world. Because we are a small business, we can offer you and your pet consistency, love, and reliability. I started using Pittsburgh Pet Pals about 2 months ago when I brought home my Australian shepherd, Dip. I typically like to meet my sitters before letting them take care of my babies - HOWEVER, Chris has been absolutely phenomenal with my lil man! Paula is AMAZING with scheduling! I work a hybrid job and my schedule changes frequently and Chris and Paula always find time to take care of Dip. I receive photo and text updates from Chris while he’s taking care of Dip for his mid-day drop ins and I couldn’t be more thankful to have found these amazing people! Not having to worry about your dog actually getting to go potty while you’re away and leaving them with people you trust definitely puts my mind at ease when I’m in the middle of crazy workdays. The certification process is a series of intense training courses, which focuses on pet care, pet emergency procedures, pet health and wellness, administering medication, and much more. DROP-IN SERVICES $28/visit
Drop-in visits can be a great option for pet owners who need someone to care for their pet while they are away, such as during the workday or when going out of town. They can also be a good choice for pets that have special care needs, separation anxiety, or are sensitive to change.
Pet Sitting $80/night
Overnight pet care is a service that provides a comfortable and reliable environment for pets when their owners are away. Our Pet Sitters will treat your animal as their own. We will feed, exercise, provide companionship, provide medication (if needed), and grooming services.
Pet Walking $25/walk
Dog walkers can provide a range of services, including: Exercise, Companionship, and Fresh Air. We can also help to mentally stimulate your pet . We also offer training walks for puppies and older dogs. CHECK OUT OUR DOG WALKING PACKAGES!!!!!!!!!!
